Chrome is one of the most emblematic chemical substances in the REACH regulation and has been placed under strict authorization for surface coating manufacturers since 2017.
MECA-INOX is not subject to the REACH regulation for Chrome 6, and keeps on using screws coated with this material for its 3-piece carbon steel valves.
As part of its CSR plan ans its commitment to respect the environmental, MECA-INOX has decided to renew this screws with stainless steel screws identical to the one used on our 3-piece stainless steel valves.
The replacement will begin at the end of April 2018 and will be fully operational by the end of 2018.
